A Presidents Regrets

Quote

“We have restricted credit, we have restricted opportunity, we have controlled development, and we have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated, governments in the civilized world–no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and the duress of small groups of dominant men.”
Woodrow Wilson

Open to Comments!

You open your heart to the world, you pour out your soul in your blog. You hope someone sees it an perhaps has the answer, maybe a bit of reassurance. Hours go by an not one comment! Maybe a like an only 11 views. You know people are reading but what can you do to get them to comment? You try an encourage them by asking a question at the end. You state an opinion an request feed back, but still no dice. I have found that the best way to get comments is to say something outrageous, something unbelievable. Something that makes readers look back and an say what in the hell? You must say something that bothers people convictions an calls their morals into question. While sure this maybe hard to do, but if you writing is direct or offensive someone will comment. Some soul will make their opinion known. So I say this go out there! Write about how you love abortion, write about how all men are dogs an people will respond. Likes are over rated, comments is where the fun interaction is!

Lessons learned

Long gone are the days when me an my best friend would dress up as Grant an Lee for class reports.. When we would hang out an play together an dreamed of being war heroes. Our youth tore from us by this ugliness of racism that GROWN people taught us. It was amazing those times when I liked a white girl an didn’t think that my skin color was a problem for us. I have in remembrance of those days I have relinquished the title African American an will only identify myself as an American an human.

Death of Prejudice

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
Mark Twain

I think war and conflict opens our eyes to things and the truth. Americans are sleep to whats around them because we have this massive security blanket. It will take alot to wake them up. It angers me most t…hat so few know the sacrifice that ppl make to keep this country safe husbands with out wives and vise versa families tore apart its insane what is asked and what is repaid. I once heard a chick say that we have it easy because we have the GI bill I laughed in her face and told her what we have to do to get the GI Bill or when u mention the word IED and no one knows what u are talking about. I don’t want any notoriety from serving I do however want people to be aware of the world they live in and get their head out of their asses. Dude the state of America is horrible a bunch of fat ignorant vain kids that will someday attempt to run this nation. I shed tears for what I see. Ignorantly bliss America I love my country but we need to tighten things up before its to late.

Political Maddness

Dissasemble? Is this the only answer for our current government? I think so, I think that the system is broken an corrupt. I believe there is nothing we can actually do to fix it, it has to be remade. First off polititians will never vote to take a pay cut or to givve up their own benefits. They don’t seem to have as much invested in this countries success than the average American. What are they sacrificing? Nothing they are suppose to be the voice of the people, if this is the case we woudn’t be in the crap pile we are in right now. It seems the voice of the people is being drown out, but what the leaders of the partys want. Everyone is so busy holding on to their own personal wealth an belief that what is best for the nation isn’t heard. How is it even possible for us to be this broken. We was once at the top of the world in education, science ect. Now the average person I met in college is taking kinesology. This nation has a lot of issues but our corrupt politicians an wealth seeking sharks are at the top of our problems.
